Great Place to Work® has named us Best Workplace of 2019. It is the fifth time in a row that we receive this award in the category of companies with fewer than 500 employees.

Managing partner Thomas Van Eeckhout is proud. “The happiness of our employees is our priority. This award shows that this feeling also lives among our employees, which makes this award a particularly fine recognition. ”

"Talking about happiness is not obvious"

“We have made happiness one of our pillars within EASI. It supports the sense of togetherness and it increases the available energy tenfold. Yet speaking about happiness is not obvious. For many, it quickly becomes too theoretical, too cliché ..." says HR manager Laurent Delime. "We consciously make a lot of efforts to increase the comfort of our employees, but with a fresh fruit basket, a PlayStation or other services we're talking about well-being rather than happiness."

EASI DNA

"Happiness entails much more," says Thomas Van Eeckhout. “We focus on different needs of employees. Recognition, freedom, transparency, mission and love. These are the five ingredients that make our employees, happy employees and us again the best place to work. We link these efforts to our EASI values. Respect, positive attitude, equality, sense of responsibility and loyalty. After two years, those who score well on these values can become a shareholder. That's quite unique in our country, but we notice that our participatory business model works. More than 1 in 4 employees is currently a shareholder. "

A double party

According to CEO Salvatore Curaba, the Award is extra special this year: “We have been around for 20 years today. Over the past three years we have recruited more than 100 additional employees. The values and our corporate culture have made EASI the company it is today. We can proudly start our festive year with this wonderful award that demonstrates the maturity of our corporate culture.
