5 tips to work faster

Through my experience with Adfinity, I find these tips really helpful to accomplish my work quickly and efficiently :

Export to Excel

From any screen, you are able to realize an export to Excel. How does it  work? Very simple : right click, export!
In the software, if you are on a column, you can even add a filter with a right-click to get an easier view on the selections you want. Those settings are personal and are automatically saved in your user profile.

Organizing the columns

The information you are searching for is on the right side of the screen and you are tired of having to scroll left-right all the time? You can move the columns on the screen! (via a simple drag & drop movement).

Shortcuts

Shortcuts : through defined keys,  you can quickly access to a task :

  • F5 : display
  • F6 : add
  • F7 : copy
  • F8 : edit
  • F11 : delete

Other personalized features: our consultants are able to parameterize shortcuts that give you access to details via a double-click (ask for the "altF2 double-click" function to your consultant).

Use the specific periods

The option "use specific periods": in my own user profile, I activate this option. At the start of the program, I am automatically asked to confirm the period in which I want to work : really useful ! This option avoid you to work in the wrong period.

The quicklinks

If you right-click on a customer record, you get a overview with quick links that our consultants set in function of your specific needs. Some examples : direct commands that allow in one click to consult "het Belgisch Staatsblad", Google Maps or even your CRM solution. You get then directly access to the linked information (online reports, addresses and localizations, CRM contacts,...) : life is simple with the quick links. I like.

Just try it... It makes life so much easier !
