During summer, everybody at EASI was wondering what would be the "look" of 'it'. Would it be faster, easier, more attractive? Of course I'm not talking about the latest iPhone.
I am talking about the latest version of our accounting software : Adfinity.
After almost two months of daily use, it's time for me to deliver my first impressions.
First of all, let's talk about the 'look and feel' and user-friendly side of Adfinity. Everything has been thought to make the accountant's life easier with the new welcome screen. You'll be able to find directly the book you're looking for.
For example, let's generate a sell-invoice. Before Adfinity, you had to go through a lot of windows to finally make the invoice. Now, one click is enough.
Some of you could find it a light improvement but trust me, when you have to do it daily, it is a real time-saver.
What's for me THE biggest improvement with Adfinity ? The tabs of course.
They were made to simplify our work. We all know men are not able to do 2 things at a time... The tabs allows us to juggle between different tasks without shutting any windows. It's very useful when I am encoding invoices and one of my colleagues ask me information about a customer of a provider. I simply open another tab to give the answer and then go back to my task.
Finally, the intelligent shortcut is another revolution. When a customer calls you to ask information about an invoice, you only have to encode the invoice number to get all the information you need.
