What we learned at Agentforce World Tour 2026:  3 Key takeaways on AI agents, CRM and the Agentic Enterprise

AI agents, CRM and Agentic Enterprise. These were some of the dominant themes at Agentforce World Tour Brussels 2026, where our Salesforce team joined customers, partners and Salesforce experts to explore the future of CRM and artificial intelligence.

On May 19th, our Salesforce team attended Agentforce World Tour Brussels as a Salesforce Partner. Besides having some great conversations at our booth about Salesforce and Align, we also spent the day attending keynotes, customer sessions and product demonstrations.

AI was, unsurprisingly, the dominant topic throughout the day. But what stood out wasn't another wave of futuristic promises. Instead, many conversations focused on practical questions: Where can AI actually help today? What are companies struggling with? And what separates successful projects from unsuccessful ones?

Here are three things that stood out to us:

Three key lessons

1.     AI agents are becoming the next evolution of CRM and business automation

A year ago, most AI conversations revolved around copilots and productivity assistants. At Agentforce World Tour, the conversation had clearly evolved.

Salesforce spent a lot of time showcasing Agentforce and the concept of AI agents: systems that don't just answer questions but can actually perform tasks, follow processes and interact with business data.

Whether it's qualifying leads, preparing account managers for meetings or helping customer service teams, the focus is increasingly shifting from "AI that helps people" to "AI that actively participates in the process."

Whether companies are ready for that shift is another question, but it was impossible to ignore that this is where Salesforce is investing heavily.

2.    Successful AI starts with data quality

Another recurring message was the importance of data quality.

Many organizations want to move faster with AI, yet they are still dealing with fragmented information, duplicate records and disconnected systems. Several speakers made the same point in different ways: AI will amplify the quality of your data, for better or worse.

Before discussing agents, automation or AI, organizations often need to take a step back and ask a simpler question: can we trust the data we already have? The companies that can answer "yes" are usually the ones that move fastest. "The right data is gold."

For Salesforce users, CRM data quality is becoming one of the most important success factors for AI adoption. AI agents rely on customer records, account information, opportunities, service cases and business processes stored within the CRM. When this data is incomplete, outdated or duplicated, AI-generated recommendations become less reliable.

3.    AI is becoming a native capability within Salesforce and modern business applications

A few years ago, AI was often treated as a separate project or tool. Today, the focus is much more on integrating AI into the applications people already use every day.

Many of the demonstrations followed the same principle: helping sales teams prepare for meetings, supporting service agents, qualifying leads or finding information faster, all directly within Salesforce.

In that sense, the AI itself almost fades into the background. The real value comes from making existing processes smoother and more efficient, without forcing users to switch between different tools. That's exactly the approach we take with our customers through Align

It reinforced a simple but important idea: the organizations that will get the most out of AI won't necessarily be the ones using the most AI tools, but the ones that integrate AI naturally into the way they already work.
