Managing Partner, EASI

We've had some exciting months, but today we can officially declare: EASI opens its first office in the Netherlands.

Local partnership

EASI always invests in local partnerships. With Jacob Flik (right) as general manager and Leo Oppenheimer (left) as technical manager, we found two extremely capable people who will take on the day-to-day management of EASI Nederland. They know the Dutch market through and through, thanks to their years of experience with IBM i systems. After the acquisition of the QSL group by Syncsort, they opted for a collaboration with EASI.

EASI Nederland is a logical step for them, says Leo Oppenheimer. "The quality of the service and the composition of the products and services portfolio convinced us from the start. Moreover, EASI is an IBM Platinum Business Partner. We can therefore build on the existing expertise of 20 years."

Conquer the Dutch market

At the moment, Jacob Flik is the driving force behind the meetings with new customers. "With the IT infrastructure solutions from EASI we want to conquer the Dutch market," says Jacob. "And while we initially focus on security, cloud and infrastructure management for IBM Power and VMware (Intel) environments, we also strongly believe in the potential of EASI's management software. At the moment we already have some Dutch customers for the mobile sales app SmartSales and the accounting package Adfinity. We are convinced that their number will only grow in the coming years. "And of course I fully agree with that.

Active in 6 countries

The start in the Netherlands is part of a larger expansion strategy of our company. EASI is currently active in six countries. Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain and now also the Netherlands. We hope for a solid growth. In Belgium it is going fast, we hope to hire 50 extra collaborators this year. A growth of about 25% percent.

The opening of a new office in the Netherlands also offers us a lot of potential. We hope to expand the EASI Netherlands family with about twenty people in two years.
