Discover in this article, 3 efficient ways to follow the evolution of your KPIs in the Adfinity tool.

An accounting system such as Adfinity contains a huge amount of information. In addition to being a statutory obligation, it is also an indispensable part of an organisation because of the information it provides on the financial situation of a business, enabling an insight into the expenses incurred, income, assets and liabilities of a company. It is therefore very important to monitor these figures properly throughout the year to make corrections and adjust the policy where necessary.

When doing so, following up some of the most important KPIs is essential.

What does the abbreviation KPI actually mean? KPI stands for Key Performance Indicator. The aim of a KPI is to see, through a specific measurement, what the situation is (e.g. the profit percentage of the company). These KPIs may vary for each department and may also vary considerably for each type of business, depending on the company’s opinion on what KPIs should be followed up. Some KPIs are very important for financial departments. Here we can think of, for example, the profit percentage, top-10 customers, the number of disputed invoices, the number of outstanding approvals, etc.

But what does this have to do with EASI and Adfinity? EASI offers a broad range of options for following up these KPIs. There are several channels using which Adfinity enables you to consult and retrieve these KPIs: Dashboards, Newsletters, and through BI-tools.

Overview at a glance thanks to the dashboards

Dashboards are a recent addition to Adfinity. They offer the user the possibility of obtaining a direct insight into specific important data. Depending on the relevance of the data managed by Adfinity, a selection of this data is made for the composition of the dashboards, providing insight at a single glance. In addition, it is also possible to create an individual dashboard for each user in Adfinity, tailored to the responsibilities of the user. Nowadays, standard dashboards are already available that can be implemented at the customer within a very short time. There is also an option to add additional data to the dashboards, depending on the customer’s needs.

Below you can find an example of a dashboard:

Sending automatic newsletters

Adfinity also offers an option to create newsletters. Newsletters are intended to send certain important information automatically by email to one or more receiving parties within the organisation at regular intervals. These intervals can be set in accordance with the content the customer wishes to receive by email.

Once they have been set, the persons concerned will receive an email with an overview of the data, every time at the pre-set intervals. For example, it can be handy for a certain person to receive an email of his outstanding approvals at the beginning of the day, so this person will not have to open Adfinity each time to see what still needs to be done.

Integration with Business Intelligence tools

In one of our previous blog posts, our colleague talked about the huge advantages of BI tools. These are highly interactive tools that enable users to apply filters in a highly dynamic manner, by clicking on graphs, etc. Another advantage of these tools is that graphs can be made to connect with each other, so that based on selections in one graph, any changes resulting from these selections can be seen in the other. All this is done based on real-time data that is loaded from Adfinity.

EASI has experts in-house who can make sure that your organisation will be able to realise a perfect integration between BI tools and Adfinity, ensuring that the data can flow from Adfinity to the BI tools and that specific graphs or other figures can be shown on the dashboards. The big plus of BI tools is that they are very easy tools to work with and that the users can also add things to the dashboards themselves. At EASI, we work with various BI tools such as, for example, PowerBI and Qlik. We can help the customer make the right "BI-tool" choice.

As you can see, EASI has countless options for seeing certain figures at a glance. All options offer enormous advantages and can also be applied at the same time.

One thing should be clear by now: Adfinity and KPIs: it matches!
