EASI is already proposing shared hosting and housing services for many years. Four years ago, EASI launched Cloud2be. Cloud2be is a 100% belgian cloud platform with the guarantee your data will remain in Belgium and fully managed by EASI, a trustable, reliable partner.
Today, more than 150 customers are using Cloud2be on a daily base. This represents thousands of users. I’m delighted to say, it’s a real success!
Thanks to Cloud2be, EASI delivers managed or unmanaged IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) but also SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) as for instance SmartMail, SmartDrive, SmartSales, SmartPush and SmartCMS for Mobile Apps, EASI Financials, AAA and Safe2be...
In order to sustain this tremendous growth, EASI made lots of investments this year :
- a fully redundant new network backbone
- additional IBM Power 8 systems
- Lenovo Flex chassis
- and lately, a complete renewal and upgrade of our underlying storage infrastructure.
After many comparisons, EASI decided to pursue its collaboration with IBM for Storage. Next to our Very High Density, High Density, High Performance offerings, Cloud2be is now able to deliver Very High Performance through the newly acquired Flash Systems.
Moreover, thanks to this new scalable architecture, we can now offer storage replication for a small additional monthly fee. This allows our customers to reduce their RPO (Recovery Point Objective ) in case of failure and even their RTO (Recovery Time Objective) thanks to an optional SLA we can offer.
EASI has a lot of ideas for the future. Cloud2be Next is just around the corner and looking good! .:-)
