On the 13th of June, IBM i users from all over Europe will meet for the Common Europe Congress, which this year will take place in sunny Alicante. Easi will also be present with a number of workshops and information sessions given by our experts.
From June 13th to 16th, Common Europe is organizing its flagship event, the Common Europe Congress, as is its annual custom. In celebration of Common's 60th anniversary, they chose sunny Alicante as the venue for the Common Europe Summit.
Common Europe is the umbrella organization of all European Common user groups of IBM-based solutions, such as IBM Power Systems™, IBM i™, AIX™, and Linux™.
The goal of the umbrella organization is to encourage its members to exchange experiences and information, but also to offer them advanced training.
That is also the goal of this event: during 3 days, the Common Europe Congress offers attendees multiple workshops, info sessions, and networking opportunities in a sunny setting.
The main topics of the congress are Application Development, Advanced RPG, Open Source tools and Languages, System Management, DB2 and SQL, ACS, IBM i Services and microservices, Security and Compliance and much more...
As a loyal IBM partner, Easi will also be present to share its knowledge on some of these topics. We will do this during several info sessions and workshops.
Our colleagues Liliane Van Winckel and Rudi van Helvoirt will be speaking during several sessions, where they will talk about IBM i modernization and offer a deep dive into the New Navigator for IBM i, among other things.
More information about our experts' sessions can be found here and here.
