Inclusion is a very important concept to Easi. Today we celebrate with socks for our employees and with donations to several organizations: Trefpunt Stan, Inclusion ASBL, and The World Of Ayden.

Inclusion

Inclusion is a very significant concept to Easi. We foster a corporate culture where every voice is heard and respected. With 'Caring' as our core value, inclusion and diversity are embedded in our operations and in every decision we make. Diversity is about looking beyond gender and background. It's also about valuing and coloring each other's differences, appreciating them, respecting each other, and most importantly, believing in the added value that everyone can bring to our company.

No one should feel disadvantaged.

This is also an opportunity for us to celebrate our 1st place in the Best Workplaces competition by supporting this cause, and in particular, Down's Syndrome. How do we do this? Through donations to several organizations: Trefpunt Stan, Inclusion ASBL, and The World Of Ayden.

All opinions count

We have found that feedback and input from our employees makes us better every day. Their feedback allows us to improve our operations and better understand everyone's needs.

One of our employees, who has a child with Down syndrome, suggested that we help support this action. Therefore, we are donating three donations to charities and associations specialized in supporting people with this disability and their environment.

The organizations we decided to support

  • Trefpunt Stan: they focus on people with mental disabilities and their families. They are based in Brussels and have several groups, all run by volunteers. They don't have a lot of resources because they don't have government support. That's why we wanted to help them in their projects.
  • Inclusion ASBL: is a French-speaking Belgian association that promotes quality of life and participation in active life for people with mental disabilities, regardless of the degree of disability.
  • The World Of Ayden: is the first inclusive playground in Belgium. A place where all children are welcome and where extraordinary children have fun and discover in a way that is adapted to their needs.

Every action is important, but they are all the more important when it values our employees. Supporting our colleagues is crucial in our organization.

Our corporate culture continues to be rewarded

This week we were voted Great Place To Work for the 8th consecutive time, and we also retained our 1st place as a Best Workplace. This reflects our company's desire to be ethical, inclusive, equal and accessible.

To celebrate our latest award, we decided to offer all our employees a gift tied to this goal.

Why did we do this? To highlight good practices around the world and, most importantly, to give visibility to all the challenges that people with Down syndrome and their caregivers face every day. No one should be pigeonholed, we are all exceptional.
