We are proud to present you a newcomer in our Safe2be infrastructure. Thanks to the multiple features and huge storage capacity of our new toy, we will be able to absorb the increasing backup demands of our customers more efficiently.
The name of our new baby is EMC² DataDomain 4500, which offers a logical capacity of 14,2 PetaBytes of storage thanks to his high compression and deduplication factors.
What will be the role of this new member of our family?
First of all, it will keep the backups of our Safe2be for RBS customers safe.
Safe2be disposed - of course - already of his own dedicated DataDomain systems for the regular backups. This new system will help his 2 little brothers to cope with the increasing new demands in terms of backup capacity.
