Since several years, we celebrate March 31th as the World Backup Day! It is a day for people to learn about the increasing role of data in our lives and the importance of regular backups.
Losing your files is way more common than you’d think. We all know someone who already lost important files: pictures, videos, music, papers, personal documents, ... There are several causes of losing your data: you forgot to save, your phone was lost or stolen, because of viruses or accidents, ...
This is why they created the World Backup Day: in order to think about the dangers and reality of losing important data. But don't worry, there are also different solutions to backup your files and keep them save!
First of all you can backup on an external hard drive. Remember that, in that case, the moment you are creating new files, you always have to update your disk!
